Eating well doesn’t have to be a budget-breaker. Good food is simple, fresh, and seasonal.

I believe that full flavors don’t have to be complicated and the words “from scratch” don’t necessarily mean time-consuming. As a working mom, it’s important to me to provide wholesome, flavorful and nutritious meals. Yet, most days I want to minimize my time in the kitchen so I can maximize my time with my family and friends.

In this blog, I’ll share tips and tricks to make cooking more fun, more efficient and more of a family activity. When a recipe requires more effort, I’ll provide suggestions for advance preparation and step-by-step instructions to keep the guesswork and stress out of the kitchen.

Whether you’re new to the kitchen or have been cooking your entire life, I hope you’ll find the recipes and ideas here that will gather your family around the table and create memories that will last a lifetime.

My passion and the purpose of my blog is simply this: to connect people and families through food and take the time to enjoy it.

Hi Lena! It was great to meet you Friday. I would love to create something lovely for your next secret restaurant. Let me know when we might chat a little more about it.
